Impress your Japanese Guests by Having a Kagamibiraki Event (Sake Barrel Opening)!!!

Greeting to you all.

I hope you are all doing well.

As I continue this series of blogs about celebrations, I though I would introduce a more traditional Japanese event.

Some of you may know about this item or event, but it involved opening a barrel of sake.

The more traditional one is actually using a heavy hammer to burst open the top of a barrel of sake.

The top consist of a wooden top, making it easier to break with the hammer.

But to prevent the danger of people getting hurt with a big hammer and possible getting injured with the flying wood, we have a more safe sake barrel to open.

This event is called Kagamibiraki or Sake Barrel Opening.

During ground breaking ceremonies as a form of celebration many Japanese do this event.

After opening the barrel everyone drinks the sake.

So if you are working at a Japanese company, or want to impress some Japanese guests, this is the item for you.

We have other items for rent for celebrating in a Japanese way, so please have a look at our other items.

If you are looking or if you know someone that is planning to do any rentals or events here in Japan, please let us know, or tell them about us.

If you have any questions about our products or services, please don’t hesitate to ask.

We are here to help.
