Introducing Event21’s Happy Create Project

In this post, we will be introducing something very unique to our company.

It is a project called “Happy Create”, which was born from the desire to go a little farther and create more happiness for our customers.

Basically, Event21 employees are given a set budget each year, and we can use this budget to purchase gifts for our customers.

Of course, we do not randomly gift items just because we have the budget to!
We properly consider our customer’s needs and choose a gift that will add value and meaning.

Here is one story of how the Happy Create project has sparked joy…

K-san is one of our Japanese sales staff working in the Kyoto branch.
One of his clients works in a hotel in Tokyo and has rented items from K-san several times.

Through their various communications, K-san and his client have gone beyond being mere business partners, and have gotten to the point of being able to exchange jokes while conversing with each other. Both K-san and his client are busy people living in different areas in Japan, but K-san wanted to show his appreciation in some way. This is where the Happy Create project comes into play.

Together with a heartfelt message, K-san chose a traditional Japanese snack from Kyoto and sent it to his client in Tokyo.

Upon receiving the gift, K-san’s client responding with a very touching message.

I never expected to receive such a gift.
It was truly a pleasant surprise that made me very happy!

I work in a hotel and am always the one planning surprises for my guests.
I am usually not on receiving end of the surprises, so I really appreciate it!

This really motivates me to surprise my guests even more!

Through the simple act of sending a gift, K-san has created so much happiness for his client!

This is just one of the many initiatives that Event21 has come up with.
We will introduce more in future blog posts, so stay tuned!
