A banquet hall is probably the most standard type of venue that comes to mind when holding a party.
These halls can usually accommodate a huge crowd, and is ideal if you have many guests.

Banquet halls are also suitable for more formal parties.
The halls can also be customised to suit your needs due to the lack of existing furniture in the venue.

2) Restaurant

Many restaurants in Japan can be booked for a private function. Some even have special plans meant for such private bookings.

Of course, due to the smaller size of restaurants, it is more difficult to find restaurants that can accommodate a few hundred people. Thus, restaurants are more suitable for parties on a smaller scale.

3) Live house

Some live houses in Japan are available for rent even if you are not planning to hold a show of any sort!

They can be customised to your needs and usually have a fairly large capacity. If your party will be going on till late, live houses may also be able to cater to your needs. Restaurants and hotels may have a time limit in place due to manpower or noise concerns.
