Hello to you all!
As always, I hope everyone is have a good day.
With summer in full effect here in Japan, Matsuri (Japanese festivals) season is here.
For those who have lived here in Japan or know about Japanese festivals, you probably have seen the staff or just people in general wearing some blue or red, colorful shirts.
Those my friends, are called Happi (ハッピ), not to be confused with Happy, which has the same pronunciation.
They are traditional garments in Japan worn during festivals.
They are a great way to get into the matsuri seasons.
It does not even have to be just during Japanese festivals.
Just recently, our company had a our big summer meeting and the dress code was to wear Yukatas, Jinbes or Happis.
To get in the summer mood while doing our summer meeting.
It was a great way to have a “Matsuri” without having to be outside with many strangers.
This can be a little worrisome as the Corona Virus is still going on.
You can ever wear them during Halloween!
The uses are many and can be tied around the waist with the belts (rented separately)
We also have many other traditional Japanese wear to rent.
We thoroughly clean and disinfection each item after use, so there is no need to worry about COVID-19.
Some of the wear can be a little expensive, and if you are looking for a quick and easy way to wear traditional Japanese garments, then Event21 can help you.
If you are missing going to matsuris or just want to have a small one with your close ones, then these Happis are for you!
Be HAPPY with these HAPPIs!!! (Just like Event21’s motto “You Happy, We Happy!”)
If you are looking or if you know someone that is planning to do any rentals or events here in Japan, please let us know, or tell them about us.
If you have any questions about our products or services, please don’t hesitate to ask.
We are here to help.
