This year’s summer has started early, and certainly with a punch, with even Siberia hitting record temperatures thus far.
Japan is no exception to the summer heat and humidity, especially for those residing in the cities – many flock to the mountains or to beaches and pools to cool off in this season.
What with the virus outbreak this year, however, pools may still be a faraway dream – we may have to continue spending the majority of the summer at home.
